Renewing Hope and Connections
Burleson Family Counseling exists to provide a safe, encouraging place where individuals and families can work through life’s challenges, strengthen relationships, and move toward meaningful change.
Located in Burleson, Texas, we provide counseling for children, teens, adults, couples, and families throughout Burleson and surrounding communities, including Crowley, Joshua, Godley, Mansfield, Alvarado, and Fort Worth.
Meeting You Where You Are
We believe good counseling starts with understanding the person sitting in front of us. Every client brings a different story, personality, set of experiences, values, strengths, and challenges into the counseling room. Because of that, we don’t believe counseling should look exactly the same for everyone.
Our counselors work to meet clients where they are, understand what matters to them, and develop
an approach that fits their individual needs and goals. Counseling isn’t simply about identifying what’s wrong. It’s also about recognizing strengths, understanding patterns, developing practical tools, and helping people move toward healthier lives and relationships.
Our COMPASS
Our approach to counseling is guided by a simple set of principles. They serve as our COMPASS for how we care for the people who walk through our doors.
C – Compassionate
You should feel heard, respected, and valued. We seek to understand your story before trying to help you change it.
O – Open of judgment.
Counseling should be a place where you can be honest about what you’re experiencing without fear of judgement.
M – Meet You Where You Are
We start with where you are today – not where someone else thinks you should be.
P – Practical
Counseling should give you insight and tools that make a difference outside the counseling office.
A – Authentic
We believe meaningful counseling happens in genuine relationships where you can show up as yourself.
S – Strengths-Focused
You are more than the problems that brought you to counseling. We help you recognize and build upon the strengths you already possess.
S – Supportive of Relationships
Healthy relationships matter. Whether we’re working with an individual, child, couple, or family, we help clients develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and the people around them.
Faith & Counseling
Christian faith is an important part of the identity and values of Burleson Family Counseling. At the same time, we believe counseling begins by meeting clients where they are. We welcome people from all backgrounds, beliefs, and life experiences and respect each client’s individual values and goals.
For clients who desire it, Christian faith, Scripture, and biblical principles can be incorporated into the counseling process. For clients who do not desire faith integration, our counselors provide the same compassionate and professional care while respecting the client’s beliefs and preferences.
Faith integration is always client-directed, never imposed.
Our Team
Whether you’re looking for counseling for yourself, your child, your teenager, your relationship, or your family, our goal is to help connect you with the counselor who is best suited to your needs.
